“Storytelling is a transformative art form that has the innate ability to transcend one’s conditioning in order to change the hearts, minds, and social practices of folks.”
—Sade Lythcott, CEO of the National Black Theatre (NBT)

Movements geared toward social change have historically used the tools forged by artists and activists to craft pathways toward human liberation and transformation. This panel discussion will include featured artists from The Gathering: A Collective Sonic Ring Shout and community-based activists to examine the relationship between one another and how they help steer us towards healing, changing the narrative, and being an architect for a future of wholeness for everyone.
