We are honored to present a land acknowledgment, commissioned by Mahogany L. Browne, to pay tribute to the displaced and thriving Black and migrant community of Foggy Bottom, where the Kennedy Center and The Watergate Hotel now stand. This tribute has been displayed on the REACH Wall as a banner throughout the week, serving as a powerful act of reclamation and remembrance for this historic Black community. The video was created by Peter Cooper.
